MIMAR+ consolidates and expands the advances in MIMAR's knowledge, trying to group interested agents throughout the region under the cover of a Marine Observatory dedicated to making a real assessment of the impacts that are being generated by introduced and invasive species, HABs and the changes produced by global warming and human activity in marine habitats, proposing common methodologies for monitoring, control and mitigation. In addition, it will export all the scientific knowledge acquired and implement an ambitious training and awareness program on the changes that are taking place in the marine area and its conservation.
